Wow. Just wow. Today was the first day that I thought I would really just pull my hair out. I actually wished that I was able to go to work and drop Austin off with someone else so they can deal with the crying, and sobbing, and the tantrum, and not wanting to sleep and fighting with me with everything. It was a very very bad day. He was just in a horrible mood and didn't do anything but cry all day long! This is the first break I've had really all day. He's in that stage now that if I leave the room he's in, life as he knows it is over! He breaks into this screeching, uncontrollable sob that you think he's lost a limb or something from the sound of it. He wouldn't lay down at all so I took a drive to Home Depot to get light bulbs and to just browse and then I drove the long way home for Austin to fall asleep finally. I laid him down and he was able to sleep an hour. So during that time I tested my painting skills and painted the work bench the built down in the garage. I think it makes it look alot better now its painted. As I said before, the guy left a bunch of paint here so I took advantage. After Kevin came home we ran out to his co-worker's house to pick up another air mattress. It just was horrible trying to sleep on one mattress together. I fell off once and I kept losing my pillow so I really didn't get much sleep. I have the baby monitor on right now and I here Kevin tossing and turning in there so maybe the new mattress he's borrowing isn't any better. Urgh! We need our stuff now! Side note: they still haven't ship the stuff! They say maybe Friday but we have to pay for the storage of the large stuff since we went over our storage dates with the Air Force. Life sucks when you become a grownup I swear! So after that
we had dinner at this pizza place people at Kevin's work has been talking about. It was alright but I like the one in town better. After that, another co-worker met us at the house and dropped off a folding table and chairs which is what I'm typing on now. Its a huge relief b/c it was a pain to have Austin trying to pull on the laptop and push the buttons. He's feisty when he can't get his way too. He'll keep fighting until he gets what he wants. So after another co-worker of Kevin's said that we could pick up a coffee table and two end tables that he doesn't use anymore and the colors they are we might just buy them off of the guy. Soooo we now have 8 things we have that are borrowed and one thing that is now ours b/c we borrowed it too long (Thanks Amanda for the pack and play again! :) and we might be keeping a couple of things with money exchanged. Funny how moving around this kinda stuff happens. Austin was in a better mood with all the car rides. He LOVES them like a dog does. He laughs and yells (a good yell) and plays sorta so he gets in a better mood. He laid down for bed once and didn't want to and cried until I couldn't take it anymore and then I laid him a second time about an hour later and he was better...or so far he's doing alr
ight. It's been about an hour now so we will see.So on a lighter note: I have bought party supplies for Austin big number one birthday and I'm super excited!!! I can't wait to get this place ready for it! With Kevin's mom coming I'm sure she'll be just as excited to help as well. I've ordered all kinds of stuff for the big day that I couldn't even begin to list but of course the theme is the Dallas Cowboys and football. I'll ask whoever is coming to wear their team jerseys and it'll be like a tailgating party. I just hope it turns out well and everyone has a good time. And of course I will be taking a gazillion pictures of the big day! Oh my gosh, I can't wait! But then again I can b/c he won't be my baby anymore but a big boy. Bitter sweet.
