We are in our new house today! Whoo-hoo! We are home owners! And everything works too! Nice! So we woke up this morning and packed the rest of our things into the car and drove over here and started the task of p
utting things away. We also got a great surprise, we got our SUV back today as well! Whoo-hoo! It was sooo nice driving that around today instead of Kevin's jetta. It was a lil' bit of a rough morning with Austin. We changed the front door locks and of course they didn't fit properly so that's still on going task. So while w
e were doing that we put up the gate at the top of the stairs and Austin was wailing away the whole time. I had to go consul him a few times b/c he was just getting completely crazy from crying! After that we went to the grocery store to stalk up on some food that we can eat here like cereal and frozen pizza that doesn't require much. Luckily we got to borrow a microwave so can make some microwave meals as well. So we don't have to live on take out and fast
food the whole time. :) So as promised here are some skull cap pictures of Austin. I love the rocker look on him! It's soo cute and when some rock music is on or some R&B with a good beat he jams out! It's hilarious! He waves his hands like crazy. I love it! So the skull cap fits his personality right now to a T! Also I gave him his first toddl
er hot meal tray and he went nuts on it! LOL! I guess next time I'm going to have to feed it to him myself but I want him to be independent as well. I gave him a spoon and let him go at it. Of course, he held the spoon, used his hand fo
r the food and then would suck on the spoon after he has the food in his mouth so almost the same right?
Side note: The old owner left a few things that he'll probably want back. He left his whole coat closet of coats here. The irony is we did too at the apar
tment. I was looking for my sweatshirt and I stood there and was like, CRAP! So Kevin will have to get a hold of the owners of the apartment to get our jackets back too. LOL!
