Sept 11th here and gone...

First I would like to start off by saying that I pray for the families of this tragic day years ago.

Now this day went a lot better than yesterday did. Austin was in a much better mood. He did wake up a few times during the night and actually woke up when his diaper was full so that was good. Around 3-ish he just would not lay down in his bed. I tried giving him his bottle, the music, pacifier, etc and nothing worked so I just picked him up and laid him next to me on the air mattress and he passed out. His lil' feet and hands were cold so I think he was just cold and wanted a warm body to snuggle up to. LOL! Around 530am Kevin woke up for work and was looking for him in his crib. I started giggling cause he stood there for a while wondering where he was at. I went to Kevin's air mattress so I could spread out some more again and around 730am Austin woke up, saw that I was on the other one, crawled to me and laid down and went to sleep with me on the other air mattress. :) Man, he's adorable sometimes! So he wakes up completely at 830am and we do our usual thing like play, eat, surf the web (oh wait that's mine! :) and then I'm still tired from all the waking up and etc so I take him into the bedroom around 1030 and just close the door and let him roam in there and I laid down on the air mattress and watch him crawl and walk around. I guess I was alot tired than I thought b/c I shut my eyes and I was out. I popped my eyes open and Austin is asleep on the floor next to me in the funniest style. He's on his stomach but his butt is up in the air! I love that pose. So I put him into his crib and then I go and finish up painting the work bench in the garage. The rest of the day is pretty much the same; food, play, surf. Kevin worked late to make up the hours for taking Tuesday off and then he had football practice so I was solo until around 8pm! By then, I met him at the door and handed the kid over! :) I asked him to give Austin a bath so I could just relax for a minute and clean up the messes Austin made around the house. After his bath, Austin pretty much passed out. He was done for the day so it gave Kevin and I time for some quality time; pretty much Kevin surfed the web for sports updates since he can't check that stuff at work (its all blocked) while I asked him how his day went. And that was our day! It's soooo fun being at home all day long. I think I'm going to have to start digging a lil' harder for a job b/c I don't know how much longer I can sit around here all day long. I love Austin with all my heart but its time for some separation now. He's becoming too dependent and I need to break that quick. So I'm going to be saying good night and I'll add the pictures for this post tomorrow. I just didn't have time to do it today. It takes a few steps and a bit of time. It's getting closer to Austin's B-DAY!!! Kevin's mom will be here on the 20th. Finally Kevin and I can have a date!!! :) Hopefully more than one!
