So this weekend was a busy one. Saturday Kevin went over to a co-worker's house to watch the Football draft and I stopped by. These guys and their football; its hillarous to hear all the 'talk' 
that they do about each other's teams. They were cracking me up and I hardly knew what they were talking about half of the time. LOL! Afterwards, I left and went shopping! I got one of many starbucks Mocha fraps for free thanks to the million gift cards I got for my birthday (thanks folks!) and went to Walmart. I got some supplies for some projects I've had on the back burner and then went scrapbooking shopping. I didn't get much, just a couple of papers, some embellies, and rub-ons for a layout I want to do for Kevin's birthday. I got home and Kevin and I went over to some friend's house and had a grill out. After eating I played spades and hearts with the Jones' and another of Kevin's friends and Kevin played video games with the rest of the bunch. We stayed over there till near mid-night.

We got up this morning at 8am for breakfast with one of Kevin's friends who leaving Alaska. He wanted to do breakfast and we suggested a resturant he hadn't been to called The Peanut Farm. There breakfast is really good in my opinion. After that Kevin and I went to Lowe's to get an air purifier (wanted a humidifer, but they were way too expensive) and some staples for my staple gun.
We got home and did some homework, started on the laundry, and I took a nap. I woke up, started dinner and then got to my projects. I first did the fabric one on canvas. I got some fabric from Walmart that looks asian inspired and stapled it to a canvas that I had for a while just laying around. I then balanced it out with two brown shelves and two candle holders again that were laying around the house not being used. After that, I grabbed to lamps that have been in the closet and spray painted them black and then lightly sprayed with silver for the bedroom. I figure we will be needing some lamps in there when I can't sleep and want to 
read and when the baby comes we don't have to turn on the big light so see what I'm doing. The rest of the fabric I am going to make a no-sew type closet curtin to make it look a lil' better in here my scrap room. I'm not done with it yet though so no pictures. The last thing that I did was organize my paints with a spice rack that I saw online. So I guess you could say I'm starting to "Nest" a lil' now. LOL! Well all projects are done and it's only about 7:1 5pm. Of course I do have Despreate Housewives to watch and then bed time. So that was my weekend!
