Birthday weekend-week

Friday I took off for my birthday instead of taking it off on Monday. I just like having Fridays off more than Mondays so it worked out. I went and got my hair done and then Kevin and I went to Benihana's for dinner. The food was great as usual. Saturday morning it was nice and sunny so we cleaned the backyard finally. I had to litterally rake the yard b/c Saber (the dog) left mounds of hair out there the past winter. It was soo nasty!!! And Kevin cleaned up all the poo. It was a good two hours of work. After that, I sprayed some turf grower. Kevin went to class and I caught up on my shows. One of Kevin's friends called to invite us over so we went and hung out with them for the rest of day.

Monday I went to work and was all by myself in the office all day so it was pretty boring. Went to lunch with Kevin and some of his co-workers to Quadoba. Later that day Kevin surprised me with an Oreo icecream cake and cute lil' Tinkerbell plates and napkins! It was adorable! I was in one of my pregger moods and was crying the whole day. I felt really bad but at least the night ended better. Class started back up on Tuesday and Wednesday so that's been a nice break from work. And speaking of work, I moved from the flight to the squadron for the rest of my time in the Air Force. It's been a nice relief and alot more peaceful, thankfully.

Today was Kevin's birthday and I surprised him with a cake. I set up the kitchen with balloons and streamers and had a cake decorated for him. I wasn't able to surprise him at home but I left an answering message saying Surprise and then raced home after his Dentist appt to light the candles. All in all, it was fun. The dog loved the decor as well! I think I'm going to try to convince to go see a movie tomorrow night. We haven't gone out just the two of us in a while.
