Sept 15th here and gone...

I didn't start this post on time. It's been a busy day today. I did get a few pictures of Austin watching the game with Kevin though. So Austin was a bit whiney today. He just is always in a whiney mood now and I don't know what to do to get him in a happier mood. So I get a call around 1pm from GCI and they want me to come in to sign a contact to start working! Whoo-hoo! So I went in at 3pm to sign it and I start on Monday. I have training from 8-5pm for two weeks and then I move to nights which I prefer b/c of Austin. I do have to find a daycare for those one of those weeks though. Kevin's mom is flying up on that Monday so Kevin will take a day off for that one day and then she can watch him the rest of the week while we are both at work. She's going to have to lower her smoke breaks though. He freaks out when someone leaves him alone upstairs like the world is about to end. So after leaving the place I soon will call the office, I went to Fred Meyer to pick up salmon spread and some items we needed after I cleaned up a little. The Dallas Cowboys Monday night game against the Eagles started at 4:30pm and one of Kevin's flag football teammates came over to watch the game with him. During the game, Austin had a bit of an accident and I think he had too much apple juice for one day. Gross! So I got to bathe the child and do the laundry while Kevin got to enjoy the game. Urgh! He'll be 'suffering' here soon enough. I just hope Austin will be ok while I'm gone. This will be the longest I've ever been away from him besides his birth as Kevin pointed out. Nine hours a day, five days week. Can I really do it? I sure hope so. We will get all of cable and internet for free and get paid so my paycheck will be able to cover all the bills so whatever Kevin makes it will all be pocket money which will be awesome! Plus we have no car payments so all the bills we do have are the normal everyday stuff. So all this will help out. I did have a year off to watch him grow. It's that time where I have to let go a little. So I now will be searching for a daycare to watch him for that week and if they charge me for the whole month I'll do it and take advantage of the lil' break to get the house all moved in and sleep for my night shifts. I won't leave him there the whole time obviously, just a few hours. This will be good for him though. He needs to get to know other kids and learn how to act around people his own age and other adults. Tomorrow I have an eye appointment to get contacts. Austin just won't leave my glasses alone so I need to just go back to contacts before he seriously damages the glasses. And with winter starting I don't have to worry about the sunglasses my glasses turn into b/c it won't be sunny at all. :P Oh and Dallas won and it was the best game ever! Sooooo edge of your seat action!
