Sept 14th here and gone...

I'm doing pretty good with keeping this up. I'm actually pretty impressed with myself. I even try to make sure I get enough pictures of Austin throughout the day as well.
We got this morning around 930am and went to meet Kevin at the Kashim club where he was watching the early football games. We had lunch there and then Austin and I went to the BX and the commissary. I needed another blanket b/c it just gets too cold during the night that the one that I have isn't enough. I wake up throughout the night; another reason why I layer Austin with clothes at night as well. I just don't get this heater at all. In this room (the main living room) it states that its 72 degrees and I have no idea how. I have the gage set for 65 and I know very well
outside its near 40. In the bedrooms however feel like ice boxes so I just don't get it. We had this issue at my mom's house too. Sucks! Neways, moving on: So I got that and the items to make Austin's cake for this birthday. I'm totally excited! It's going to be a football shaped cake (obviously) and I'm going to frost some laces and then make another smaller cake for everyone else and make it a field and say the usual, "happy birthday Austin" on it. I just need to find the right candle to put on top! I also got a dvd that is designed for babies and its Winnie the Pooh themed. I need to get him started on words, shapes, etc. to improve his vocab. He still doesn't say mama at all. I know he knows who it is and he giggles when we ask him to say it but he refuses to. He just gibber gabs but none of it makes sense obviously. The only thing I think he knows he's saying is dada. That lil' traitor! So I come home and we unload all the stuff and watch the rest of the noon football games and Austin takes his nap right around 3-ish b/c he refused to lay down when we got home originally. He slept till 6:30pm but woke up in a terrible mood. He pouted and whimpered for a while and then got out of it. He had a lot to eat for dinner and then got his bath. He just laid down to bed b/c of his late nap I'm assuming. He's got some energy though. He's running non-stop now and every time he falls he goes to find something that will support him and gets back up on his feet. I'm hoping he grows out of using a support to stand soon. I know he doesn't need it, but I don't think he knows that yet. Well anyways, here are some pictures of him doing his usual quirks. He likes to climb through and under things and his favorite thing to do is look for something on top of tables to grab and run off with. During bath time, he kept trying to stand up in the tub so that's when I tell him he's done then. He gets out and just starts running around the bathroom naked! He hates wearing clothes. It takes both Kevin and I to dress that boy! He struggles soo much. So for payback, I put girly hair items in his hair and take lots of pictures in hopes of one day embarrassing the crap out of him! HAHAHA!! He could have been a pretty girl as well. Awe! :)
