So we had our inspection at the house yesterday and it went alright. Just a few changes to some plumbing and patching up of some holes that the guy made for his speaker wires. Plus, the tub needs an entry point of some kind to get to the motor for the jets. That's right, our tub will have jets! Sweet! So we should
still be good to go. I really do love this house. We will, more like I will, have to make some changes of my stuff though. My room in the other house was bigger than this room so I'll have to put the futon in Austin's room, sell the dinning room furniture and we may end up having to split the entertainment pieces to make it work in the living room. The closet is big enough though that we can put some furniture in there as well. One
thing we will have to invest in is a new driveway. Hopefully its not too expensive to fill in. Besides that, the guy bought and built alot of things for the house. We have a built-in humidifier which is very nice during the winter. Brand new water heater and furnace. New floors, carpets, paint, banisters, etc. I can't wait to move in already!
wow you've been busy... i just read like 10 blogs.. congrats on the house!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHows my sister? I've been trying to make a life in Chicago and it has been TOUGH. I even got a loan, signed the contract and then after I had already signed the contract with school saying that I am obligated to pay all the fees... the lender emails me saying they cancelled the contract. So no money, I'm thinking about joining the Army, taking math and english classes history you the stuff you can take anywhere... then going back to school... with someone who will pay for it.
