It's sunny!

Today is absolutely beautiful out and its about time! I can't even remember the last sunny day we've had. So on this momentous occasion, I took Austin for a walk all around downtown. Of course I had to stop off at one of my favorite spots! And yes, it's WALKING DISTANCE! Lucky for Kevin its been a horrible summer or I would be going to Starbucks alot more! Before our walk though, I had my appt with VA. First mistake, bringing Austin! I had to though; Kevin already had to make hours for the VA introduction yesterday so I couldn't have him miss more work again today. So I show up and its around 10:15pm and near Austin's nap time. We don't get seen until after 11am and he's already having a fit. Then the doctor doesn't come to my room until near 11:45am. By that time, Austin has had a number two and isn't happy, and very tired. I of course, being the bad mother that I am, don't have any diapers for him so he has to tough it out. So I just let him get into whatever he gets into. He liked the lil' knee hammer thing the best. I'm not sure what the proper name of it is but its that thing that hits your knee to see if it goes up I guess. LOL! So we didn't get out of the doc's until after pass noon. Then we came home to change his diaper, locked myself out of the apartment, but luckily had my purse and broke back into my apartment with a credit card (not very safe lock is it?) and then grabbed the keys and went on a walk. Now after Austin's nap we are headed to base to pick up the husband. I'm hoping to go on another walk but I doubt it. Kevin doesn't like phyiscal activities unless its throwing a football around. LOL!
