Well, yesterday was my 24th birthday. It didn't feel like a birthday though. I guess it won't after you get out of school and on your own. Not many adults have cakes, balloons, and presents, huh? I sure miss those days!*
*sigh* I didn't feel like it was April 23rd. I don't look 24 either. I feel like I should be going to school still the way I look; zit faced, glasses on, nerded up as I am right this moment. My computer was acting funky yesterday so I wasn't able to actually post on the day of my birth so I am doing it right now as my 'study break'. *wink* I'm suppose to be studying for my staff test AGAIN so I took the whole week off to cram as much as I can before my test on Monday May 1st. Luckily I will be treating myself to a nice hair do after the test. I was orginally scheduled for my hair appt on May 6th but that's Kevin's playoff games for his indoor football league. I can't miss that. So the new date and time is May 1st at 1:30pm. I'm soo excited!! Well goofing off like I did last night I created this picture and will most likely scrap it sometime this week as another 'study break'. I love how it turned out and I was inspired by a title page from Entertainment weekly. I need to scan that too to show it off. Let me know what you think.
for some reason your birthday is the one I always forgot. I can remember it's in april but I can't ever remember the date....sorry! happy late birthday.
ReplyDeleteyou're right- they've definately lost their "flavor" with the growing up deal...you cant just wake up and not have to do any chores or anything on your bday- life has to keep going.
