I don't know if you've heard....

But uh, my fancy camera that I've had for about 5 years now has finally bit the dust. It's in a state of errors and its just unable to get resolved unfortunately, well unless I pay for the repairs but its just not worth the price. So for the time being and until next year maybe around birthday time *wink* I have this new camera to keep my photo taking bug down to a minimum. So far it does the job just taking a bit to get use to it. From looking through a hole to takes pictures for the past five year to now looking at the screen...I say I have tried bringing up to the face and feeling silly afterwards. Also I've been playing with my photoshop a lot more and feeling quite artsy. I'm of course being inspired by the greats from House of 3 who are amazing when it comes to creativity and inspiration.
So what's going on right now: Austin is (I swear!!!) learning a new word everyday. Plus he's almost saying something new everyday. We've gotten him to say "rock" just this Saturday. We've gotten him to say "block" this past week. We lay out toys and name them. Afterwards we have him pick one of the toys by name such as, "Austin grab the car." And he's doing really well. We do this on a daily basis and this kid is bright! It's soo awesome to see him concentrate and learn and grow. I feel soooo super proud being his mommy. If only I could get him to point to me/pictures and say mama! He does it from himself (well says, "baby") and does it for dada, but not mama. We're trying though. The only issue we're going through right now with him is bed time and waking up in the middle of the night (more like 3-4am) screaming and carrying on. The only way to come him down from this is to have him lay in bed with us. It's starting to become a pattern and needs to stop. I know toddlers get night terrors/nightmares so today I told Kevin no tv at all so we can see if its causing the terrors at night. When I'm at work Kevin of course watches movies or sports which would be fine unless its reacting to Austin's sleeplessness. So we'll see. Kevin's dad gets here in July, around the 10th and Kevin's mom is visiting in August so my plan is to print some pictures of the both and have Austin learn Grandpa and Grandma. I doubt it'll work but we'll see. Usually he just crushes the pictures I give him so they don't last very long. Well I'm going to do some surfing and playing around on my photos. Laters...yes I know its like 1am but I'm a night owl.
