We have been sooooo super lucky this summer so far! One rainy day and the rest all sunshine and heat!:) The month of May super! So let's see we are over way done and we've taken Austin to the park about ten times, gone walking three times, went to the market once (just opened this Saturday), gone to one birthday party, and had a day-date while Austin went to the park with Karisa and her kids. So yeah busy busy busy! Kevin passed one of his certs he went to go take so he's excited about that. He took the Security Plus certification. Said the study guide he used was a huge help in taking the cert. I might do the same thing maybe. That would look nice on my resume for sure. We start school here next Monday yikes! And it's three years of that for me. Some future summer plans: Kevin's dad is coming in July and his mom is coming in August. I plan on going to the zoo, h20asis, imaginarium, sea life center, seward, parks, hopefully one of those half day fjords tours, Girdwood, the market of course, and whatever else that comes to mind. :) If it stays this nice it's going to be a blast! Some summer outdoor stuff to the house planned: connect the fence, get some patio furniture, bbq grill, stones to cover underneath the deck, and a screen door for the sliding glass door. The cat likes the outside way to much and with the fence not done he takes off towards the front of the house so he has to stay in which mean the door has to stay closed. I don't have a window in my room, just the sliding glass door so it gets super hot in here. With a screen door I'll have air and the cat stays put. :) Have I ever mentioned how much I love the new digital area of technology? I love the fact that I can take pictures and not run out of room (with a 4gig card of course). I've already taken 640 pictures in the month of May! Nuts!!! I know its an obsession but a good one I think. Austin will have PLENTY of memories that's for sure. Well Kevin will be on his way home here in about an hour and we are going to get our school books...yay...*sigh*...and then the journey begins.
