living life one day at a time...

So it was my birthday on Thursday. Birthdays aren't as exciting as they once use to be. I hate being a grownup sometimes. I wish we could still do cake and balloons and have people over and open presents! LOL! But then again I like being an adult so the husband and I can have a good time. We went out with some friends Friday night and it was a great time. One of my co-workers and friend watched Austin for us thankfully. We first went for dinner and then drinks afterwards. Then today Kevin had a few friends over for the draft and Mike made wings and they were delicious! After that, I had to go to work and tomorrow is Kevin's birthday. I bought him a cheesecake mix so I'm going to surprise him with that. I got a couple of present from the moms. Kevin's mom got me some precious moments figurines and a gift card from kohl's and my mom got me a bamboo writing tablet. I have wanted this tablet for sooooo long! You can doodle on photos and all kind of cool stuff. Just need to get a handle on it better.
Austin turned 19 months today and I don't think I snapped a picture of him. :( I'm already at work and once I get home at night he's already in bed. We will be taking a few tomorrow for Kevin's birthday. I like to have photos like that, see how we've changed through the years.
Besides all that, looks like I'm going to be starting school here next month and then go full time in August (fall seminer) so we can collect the BAH for the both of us and that means I might have to quit. The days off are not enough for both Kevin and I to go to class and me go to work at night so the money we would be making for me going to school would a lot more than we working part time. Just some things we need to discuss. In the long run, getting my bachleor's is def more important.
Well, almost done with work and then I'm crashing! I feel like crap...i don't think mike's wings settled well.
