Wow. It's here. It's actually here tomorrow night was when I had my little boy. I had no idea at this time last year that I was about to finally have him. Life goes soo fast once you have children. You watch the years through them growing and changing everyday and wonder where the time has gone. With me working now this week went soo fast, too fast. Just three days of work and it feels like I have no time for my son. It's a stressful fast paced job and I'm not sure I'm cut out for something like this. I have a huge headache and I dunno, depressed with the gloomly weather, missing Austin and having no time to myself either, plus listening to people complain all day isn't fun either. I know I'm throwing a pity party but I do miss my son. Just the first week of work and I missed one of his "first's". He got up on his feet without any assistance yesterday with my MIL (mother-in-law). She didn't mention it b/c she thought that he already knew how to do that. So I guess Austin did it in front of Kevin this afternoon and Kevin freaked out and she was like, uh he's been doing that all day yesterday too. He stood up on his own for me once tonight and it was just soo cool. He's soo adorable. He was on his butt, got to his hands and knees and just pushed his butt up and lifted those hands and "TADA!" he was up and walking in his fast pace! He's all over with that speed of his. We went to the mall for dinner at my favorite cafe and then went to Old Navy and Austin was all over Old Navy! Just running around with a football that Kevin was throwing to him. I suggested meeting at the mall since it was about a three minute drive verses a 30 minute drive home to see my son. I got to have him more today. I had Kevin stop by the daycare that Austin will be going to next week and have him let Austin roam around to get a feel for the place. I don't want to have to bring him to the place for the first time and then leave him you know? It's going to be hard enough having to leave him there but have him bawling his eyes out too is not going to be fun. I know its stupid but I can't even think about it or I tear up. I just know that I'll have this very strong urge to just grab him and go home and quit. That's how bad he can pull on those strings with me. Silly I know.
Neways, we watched another movie tonight called Leather heads and it wasn't what I was thinking it was. It was pretty slow and not really that funny. The previews made it out to be a lot funnier. It had its parts don't get me wrong but not alot to keep all of us interested. We then played a few games of sequence and then they went off to bed and I'm here typing away and about to pass out myself. Another day, another dollar. He's going to be one!!! One year old! He's in the years now!!!! No more baby months, but toddler years, than elementary, jr high, high school, college, adulthood....urgh! I'm going to have to go kiss him or hug him or something now. If that air mattress was big enough I would have him lay in bed with us too so I could cuddle with him. I'm soo pathetic! Tomorrow Kevin has a flag football game and I'm not sure what we are doing before/after that. I get off at 5pm and get home roughly 530-ish. The game is at 630pm and depending on the weather, MIL wants to watch as well. So either we grab a quick dinner and watch there or eat after. I do want to go to some type of resturant for Austin and have a cake for him. I guess we will see. The only pictures I took tonight were of Austin with more figures from my dad. It's funny b/c Kevin collects these same type of action figures. He's got over a 100 of them and somehow we don't have the ones that my dad has gotten Austin. With Dallas Cowboys popular in the 90's there were a lot of different kinds to choose from. Now McFarlen makes just 10 NFL players period in these two series a year and last year was Romo and TO and I'm not sure if any Cowboys were made this year. I'll have to see b/c they usually come out during this time. Well I'm off to bed hopefully and get some shut eye for another day of work. He's one yall! ONE!!!!!
