Sept 18th here and gone...

Wow, it's Friday tomorrow (technically right now) and this week went quickly! Today kinda sucked. The morning was good. Austin played and was in a great mood, ate his breakfast and laid down with me for a quick cat nap and then he finished his nap in his crib. I love napping with him until he starts wiggling around on me. :) So while he slept I went down to the garage and continued painting the storage area the previous owners built in there. Now here where it goes down hill for me: I got paint on my sweatshirt jacket I was wearing so I went inside threw it in the wash and then went back out to paint. Maybe 20 so minutes later I wanted to know what time it was. I had brought the baby monitor to listen for Austin and my cell just in case Kevin calls and also to keep track of time. The cell was in my sweatshirt jacket!!!! I ran back inside and the washer was already on the spin cycle! Urgh! So I grab it, take the battery out, the sim card out and my memory card and hope that airing it out would help it. It didn't. Nothing happens when I put it all back together. The memory card, however, it fine; thankfully. That was 30 dollars by itself. The phone is really clean and shiny but doesn't work. :( And to top it off this is my second one! Austin ruined my first one by chewing on it and somehow I got a free one through Best Buy but I don't think I'll be as lucky this time around. I called USAA to see if it would be covered under our personal property insurance and the lady started my "claim" and said that the advisor will contact me in 24/48 hours to see if its a claim and if its covered what we do next. Also the first lady suggest I call my homeowners' insurance as well to see if it can be covered with them. It's a local insurance company so they were already closed by the time I got around to doing so. Once Austin woke up, we drove to get my two pair of slacks hemmed and then went to Kevin's work to pick up his phone so I would have something to talk on with no home phone right now. After picking up the phone, Austin and I visited the mall and did some work clothes shopping. I just got a pair of black shoes and a shirt. I got brown shoes but I have gray pants and they do not match at all. When we got home, Austin had his late lunch/early dinner and I popped in a pizza for Kevin and I. Right after dinner, Austin was getting really fussy and I was wondering where his pacifier was at. Yeah, second crappy to happen to me today...Austin and I lose his "security blanket" at the mall. He comforts himself with it and as of right now, depends greatly on that thing so once I cleaned out the car, checked the stroller three times, his carseat, my purse, the whole house, the garage, all over the car, I realize its gone!!! NOOOOO! I remembered that I had seen the same ones at one of the local stores like Fred Meyer or Walmart but I couldn't remember which so we swing by Fred Meyer first and nope, they only have pink. So we drive 20 minutes out of the way from home to Walmart and thankfully I find them there. We get home and Austin had passed out in the car on the way to Walmart so Kevin and him stayed in the car and he slept all the way home as well. We get home and I give him the store bought one and he makes these funny faces. Kevin lays him down with it and he takes to it alot better and falls alseep! Thank God! He wakes up and starts screaming and won't lay down if he can't find his pacifier so I know what I would be going through tonight if I wasn't able to find those. He's still asleep now so I better get some shut eye as well since he'll most likely wake up real early tomorrow since he's been sleeping since around 745pm.
