I know I haven't updated this in a while so here's the scoop: Austin and I are back up in Alas
ka now and we all are living in a furnished apartment in downtown Anchorage. Besides the trains all day and all night long its not too bad. The view is pretty nice except for the telephone/power line right out front. We got back on June 11th and the flight back here was
slightly hard for me. He was older, louder, and more wiggley than the last time he flew and it was hard. It was pretty much a straight flight from Dallas to Anchorage and I think it was way too long for the little one. But it was just in time for Father's day. 
We had lunch at a Mexican restaurant downtown and for a gift Kevin got a Best Buy gift card. We bought a wireless router with it which was much needed. So that was last weekend and then the laptop broke. Go figure, right? Luckily, Best buy (once again) was having some great deals on laptops. We got this one for $750 when it's usual $950. It's pretty sweet and by the time we get another one in at least 5 to 
6 years its boyish enough for Austin. Its brown and black with snow boarder type characters on the front. We were going to wait for the laptop until this Christmas but having the power cord snap on us, we got it a little earier than expect. You're probably thinking why not get another power cord. Well the other laptop is just super old and we didn't want to have to spend any more money on it than we have to so it was time. Some updates on Austin: he's still not crawling but he 'creeps' alot and is sort of going forward now that way too. It's like the worm dance with him. He'll get on his hands and knees, try to go forward but end up on his belly every time. It's p
retty funny. He has his two top teeth showing now but not all the way yet and has four teeth on the bottom. He's eating more grown-up foods now without gagging anymore. He loves his cherrios and those toddler stars that 'melt in your mouth'. He got to hang out with some babies near his age. They are a month older than him and showing off their skills of crawling and standing up but he towered over these kids by weight and height. :) It was pretty funny. I didn't get any of him standing b/c i was taking the pictures and he can't stand on his own yet. But it was pretty funny watching him interact with other babies. He kept trying to either bite or suck on Alex when he would walk by. :) Well I get to have my very first break away from baby and Kevin gets to spend some quality baby/daddy time. I'm going to see a movie with my friend Lauren. It's about time I have some time away. I love Austin with all my heart but sometimes you need grown up time you know? :) We are going to see Iron Man; her first time, my second time. It was very very good so go see it if you haven't. Downing Jr is HOT in this movie!!!
