For a while now, my husband and I have been discussing giving up Saber. I hadn't agreed fo
r a while b/c he's a great dog and I love him very much. While in Texas, I made my decision that it would be best for all of us including him. We don't have a home right now, I'm trying to juggle my son, and our fiances with Kevin up in Alaska and its just not fair for Saber. He needed a home and a solid place of his own. I hate the fact that I have given up on him. I didn't ever want to be called a "pet quiter". I hope in the years to come when we've settled down and Austin is much older we'll be able to have a second chance at owning a dog. Neways, the good news in all this: I came up here to Michigan to visit with my sisters and nieces. I brought Saber with me and announced to her that I would be giving him up t
o a rescue agency in Michigan. I thought it would be better than Texas b/c of the heat and Michigan gets snow which Saber loves. About an hour before I was leaving with Saber, my brother in law tells my sister that he wants to keep him! :) After a whole week of saying no, and that he was not interested in having a dog right now, he gives in to the idea of keeping Saber! I'm thrilled b/c I know he'll be loved and will be in a good home. The girls absolutely adore him and play with him non-stop. I'm happy b/c I'll be able to have updates and know how he's doing. They are winter ty
pe people as well. They love going out in the snow and playing and so does Saber. It is a perfect fit in my opinion. So I created this digi layout in honor of Saber's new family. I've been downloading freebies for awhile now b/c I don't have real pictures to scrap and I'm itching to scrap something! :)
Also, each girl created their own digi layout with my help. They picked out the paper, designs, and picture.
what a wonderful gift you have given to Saber!!Not that I am a stalker by any means lol but I have followed your blog from SJazz and remember when you first got him. That is so neat that he will still be in the family :) You did a selfless thing :)

time flies by so quickly! :)
Oh also, I wanted to help you out with a pointer on the digi scrapping...to resize a pict. or elements w/out distorting or stretching them, just hold down the 'shift' key while you are resizing it. If you have any other questions just let me know. :)
