A few weeks ago and about a week after the post about the furniture I was looking at, we got the furniture from IKEA for Austin. I love how it all matches
and its very boyish for him. I've made a few blankets and even a curtain for his 'room'. He doesn't really have his own room that he will grow up in but at least I can set him up a nice place for right now. I've taken advantage of my mom's sewing machine and with a 
lot of trail and error, able to make a lot of stuff. I'm pretty proud of the products I've made too. Anyways, here are some pictures of the furniture, and artwork I've done for him. Oh and yes, the mattress was purchased slightly larger than the crib. Not our fault though; they only had one size of mattresses at IKEA so we figured it was the same size as the crib...we were wrong. Oh well. It's only made of an egg-shell ployster material so we can just cut to size; I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
