Long time coming...

I know its been a long time since I've written on my blog. I don't know why since I'm home most of the time. I guess maybe because life is quite boring right now. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE watching my son Austin and he's super funny but not much has been happening since his birth until now. After my sister visited Kevin's mom and brother came to visit for Thanksgiving. We had Christmas here and it was a very white Christmas indeed. Now we are getting ready to move from Anchorage (Elmendorf AFB) Alaska this month. I leave here in a week (Jan 29th) and will fly down to my mom's in McKinney, Texas which is outside of Dallas. Kevin will join us after his final out on the 8th and ships the car and have the packers come. I wanted to leave early so we can get out of his hair during all that and have the pets fly down to Dallas as well so they won't be in the way. After that, we still don't know. He's applied for many jobs around the US and we have not heard anything back. So we are taking it a few weeks at a time. First go down to Dallas; second, get car and things shipped; third, pick up car when it arrives in Dallas which should take 2-3 weeks; fourth, visit Kevin's family in San Antonio....fifth....???? So this will be the first time my mom gets to see the lil' one and I'm excited. My aunt (my mom's sister) is flying in as well to visit with us. They are already getting plans prepared for us.
So since we have the movers coming next week, I've packed all my scrapbook things in advance so the movers don't ruin my things. With that, I've been surfing online and grabbing any digital freebies I can find. I've over two hundred items so far!!! All I did was google: digital freebies and found a BUTT LOAD! So in continuing with my monthly layouts of Austin in which I put dozens of pictures of him during that month, I decided to do a digital layout for January. It might change since I still have a week and a few days left but here's pretty good rough draft. :)
Well the baby's calling for me...or should I say whining for me but one last note: if you have kids, take your clothes to Once upon a child, seriously! We got 50 bucks for a small bag of clothes!
