Shopping!

So guess what I got to do for work on Friday? Give up? That's right, I got to go shopping all day long! I was litterally exhausted by the end of the day! I went to my flight's christmas party meeting and we were talking about gift cards. I said that I could pick up the Starbucks one b/c I had to do there anyways (not telling why though, wink!) and my CMSgt (Chief) suggested I pick all the gift cards up and that I could do it during work. I was like sweet!!! So I left at 8am and wasn't done till 4pm!!! Can you believe that?!?! I had to go to Starbucks, Walmart, Barnes and Nobles, Sportman's Warehouse, REI, Michael's, Joann's and the Mall for a day spa gift card and a Simon's gift card. I was all over the place! I of course did some side shopping while I was running around. I grabbed the new Thomas Harris' Hanniball: Rising and Cold Mountain was on sell for $5 so I grabbed that as well. So that was my Friday for work! Jealous? LOL! I came home and took a slight nap with the hubby and then went tanning. We are trying to get a base tan before going to Hawaii; don't want to cook and burn there you know?

On top of having to shop for the party I was volun-told to do the centerpieces as well. So I got some materials and I will start either tonight or tomorrow and see what I can come up with and bring into work on Monday. I've never done this before so I hope I can.

Today was an interesting one to say the least. I somehow slept in till 1230 and only b/c Kevin woke me up! I went to bed at 1030pm! So Kevin says I guess shopping did wear you out! Funny! Saber wasn't taken out when Kevin went to school in the morning and since I slept in so late he had an accident so that was the first part of our day...steam cleaning, vacuuming and throwing out alot of trash! But at least the house smells great now! LOL!

Tomorrow most likely, Kevin and I are going to tanning and then he'll be watching football all day. My hair dryer blew so I have to get a new one tomorrow. URGH!
